That long-term quest is his ultimate goal with AE Studio—that AE tries its best to work on products and services that increase human agency. He's optimistic about the future of humanity and he invites you to play a role in creating it with him.

Research scientist with 9+ years of experience developing (soft-)robotic systems for rehabilitation after stroke and spinal cord injury. In his PhD at UC Irvine and postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard, Diogo led interdisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and clinicians to develop systems to advance the science and technology of on-demand rehabilitation. Previously worked in the automotive industry developing engine control algorithms and test automation software for Renault and Volvo.

Helping found AE Studio in 2016, James is now back in an EIR role helping founders explore how to use emerging technologies like AI to build, launch, and scale their business.

John Bargh
Social psychologist and professor at Yale University, where he has formed the Automaticity in Cognition, Motivation, and Evaluation (ACME) Laboratory. His work focuses on automaticity and unconscious processing as a method to better understand social behavior, and is particularly well-known for his research on priming. He is now turning to LLMs, and is an advisor to some of AE's Alignment research projects.
